Legacy Scholarship

The Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship was established in 1980 by the Alumni Board of Directors to recognize and reward exceptional students who have a parent or grandparent who graduated from Bellarmine or Ursuline College.

The Legacy Scholarship provides financial assistance each academic year to at least one current Bellarmine undergraduate student. All Bellarmine undergraduate legacy students who have completed at least one full time semester at Bellarmine (minimum of 12 credit hours) are eligible to apply for the scholarship once. Each Spring eligible students will receive multiple emails and notifications about the award from the Alumni Association. Applicants will be judged on their entire application, taking into account grade point average, extra-curricular involvement at Bellarmine, community involvement, employment, application essay and financial need.

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is made possible by fundraising efforts coordinated by the Alumni Board of Directors including Alumni Trivia Knight, the Bellarmine University Golf Classic, and the Alumni Summer Festival.
